About This Artist

Swing Central perform classic Jazz making for a memorable performance with fantastic musicianship and they are perfectly suited at a wedding drinks reception or at bars and restaurants to help create a lovely ambience for your guests.

Swing Central formed during their time at the University of Southampton. Since then, they have been writing and performing music all over the UK and abroad. Recently they had the pleasure of playing at the Vienna Jazz Festival.

Previous experience includes numerous functions, weddings and gigs, always providing an atmosphere that no CD could rival, and adding that artistic touch to lift any event. Their material ranges from Swing to Cool Jazz via Latin and Be-Bop. With the forces involved currently producing original material together, they are all set to bring their own voice to those tunes that are irreplaceable to the heart of jazz.

Swing Central can perform in various capacities. As a Jazz Duo, Trio or adding Vocals for a quatet. They can also add a brass section – trumoet, saxophone and trombone.

Swing Central can provide their own PA and small lighting set up. Swing Central can travel to any venue, extra travel expenses may be incurred.
